JOLEEN TU, J.D., ATTORNEY
Joleen Tu is an accomplished attorney, broker, and business leader with over 15 years of international legal and real estate experience. Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, she has built a career bridging law, business, and cross-border negotiations while leading diverse teams in both the U.S. and China.
Joleen earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley, where she double majored in Legal Studies and Asian Studies with a focus on Chinese law and language. She went on to complete her Juris Doctor at Syracuse University College of Law in 2008 and is an active member of the California State Bar.
Her early career included service as a Law Clerk for the New York State Office of the Attorney General, where she worked on prisoner rights, estate planning, and personal injury matters, as well as a role at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing, helping negotiate tourism visa agreements between China and the United States. She then practiced law internationally with Graf von Westphalen in Shanghai and Foley & Lardner LLP in both Washington, D.C. and Shanghai, advising multinational corporations on corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, product liability, labor law, and regulatory compliance.
In 2019, Joleen transitioned into real estate leadership, founding and managing Remax My Home in Temple City, California. There, she led teams of more than 50 agents, ensured legal compliance, provided training, and represented clients in complex residential, commercial, and investment transactions. In 2025, she joined Remax Champions in West Covina as a Realtor and Broker Associate, continuing her work as a team leader, coach, and trainer while representing clients throughout Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and Riverside counties.
Her leadership extends beyond her business. Joleen currently serves as President of the Monterey Park Chamber of Commerce (2025–2027) and has held multiple leadership roles with the West San Gabriel Valley Association of Realtors (WSGVAR), including Vice Chair of the MLS Committee and participant in national legislative initiatives.
Her dedication and excellence have been recognized with numerous awards, including the 2024 WSGVAR Distinguished Service Award, the 2024 Remax Titan Club Team Award, the 2023 Remax Chairman’s Club Team Award, and the 2022 and 2021 Remax Platinum Club Awards.
With her combined expertise in law and real estate, and her proven record of leadership and service, Joleen continues to play a vital role in advancing professional standards, mentoring others, and strengthening her community. She practices exclusively in the areas of corporations, mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactional law, and the new Trump Gold Card immigration visa.
